Over ten years ago, Robbie started Wax for Men as a one-man band. No hype. No shortcuts. He trained with the best, learned every step the hard way, and did it all himself — reception, bookings, cleaning, and of course, the waxing. Word spread. Men wanted a studio that understood them: discreet, efficient, and skin-kind. Robbie became the go-to guy for men’s waxing across the North.
As demand exploded, he brought in outside help to protect standards and scale the experience. Today, Wax for Men is part of the PLG UK Group, giving us the systems, training and governance to keep quality high as we grow — without losing the honesty and craft that built the brand.
